Recommended Bracelet Length
If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for chain bracelets and sizing down for rigid bangles. All Frank & Label bracelets include the clasp in the total length measurement.

Step by Step
How to Measure Your Wrist
Prepare Your Materials
You will need a flexible measuring tape. If you do not have one, use a strip of paper, a piece of string, or a thin ribbon along with a ruler.
Wrap Around Your Wrist
Wrap the measuring tape (or string) snugly around the narrowest part of your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet. Keep it flat against your skin without gaps.
Read Your Measurement
Note where the tape meets or where the string overlaps. If using string, mark the overlap point and measure the length against a ruler. This is your wrist circumference -- enter it in the calculator above.
Measurement Tips
Measure at the end of the day when your wrist is at its largest due to natural swelling.
Measure your dominant hand as it is typically slightly larger.
Measure two or three times for accuracy and use the average.
Avoid measuring over clothing -- always measure directly on the skin.

Expert Advice
Tips by Bracelet Type
Chain Bracelets
Chain bracelets are the most flexible type and conform to your wrist shape. A snug to comfort fit works best -- too loose and the chain may catch on things or flip over, hiding the decorative side.
Recommended fit: Snug (+1 cm)
Bangles
Rigid bangles must slide over the hand, so you need to measure the widest part of your hand with fingers pressed together. This measurement will be larger than your wrist size. Round bangles typically require a diameter of 6-7 cm for most adults.
Measure hand, not wrist
Cuff Bracelets
Cuffs have an opening that slides onto the wrist from the side. They should fit more snugly than chain bracelets to prevent spinning. The opening gap should be narrow enough to hold the cuff in place without pinching.
Recommended fit: Tight (+0.5 cm)
Charm Bracelets
Allow extra room for charms, which add weight and take up space on the bracelet. A comfort or loose fit ensures charms can dangle and move freely. Add an extra 1-2 cm beyond your normal bracelet size if you plan to add many charms.
Recommended fit: Comfort (+1.5 cm)
Tennis Bracelets
Tennis bracelets should drape elegantly with just enough room to slide a finger between the bracelet and your wrist. Too tight risks damage to the settings; too loose and gemstones may flip face-down.
Recommended fit: Snug (+1 cm)
Stretch & Beaded
Stretch bracelets should match your wrist size closely since the elastic provides the extra room needed. Measure your wrist and choose the size nearest to that measurement. Beaded bracelets without stretch should be sized like chain bracelets.

Sizing Quick Tips
Between Sizes?
Always round up to the larger size. You can always add an extender chain to shorten a bracelet, but you cannot lengthen one.
Gift Buying?
If you cannot measure the recipient, 18 cm is the most common women's bracelet size and 20.5 cm for men. Look for adjustable chain options for a guaranteed fit.
Seasonal Changes
Wrists can swell in warm weather and shrink in cold. If you live in a variable climate, a comfort fit accommodates these natural fluctuations.
Stacking Bracelets
When wearing multiple bracelets, consider sizing up by 0.5 cm for each additional piece to keep everything comfortable and allow each bracelet to move independently.
