What This Measures
The Frank & Label Jewellery Market Index aggregates freely available public data from government agencies, international organisations, and open financial data providers. All data is stored in our database and served from our servers — no third-party data requests are made from your browser.
Update Frequency
Gold spot: hourly. FX rates: daily. World Bank monthly series: monthly. Kimberley Process / UN Comtrade: annually.
Data Sources
Live and recent gold spot price (XAU/USD).
Daily euro reference FX rates for currency conversion.
Monthly precious-metal price history (gold, silver, platinum) going back to 1960.
Annual rough-diamond production volumes and values by country.
Annual and monthly trade values for HS codes 7102 (diamonds), 7103 (gemstones), 7104 (synthetic stones), and 7113 (jewellery).
